Back To The... Past?

Hello!

So today, i've gone back in time a little back to one of my favourite films... Clueless! Yes Alicia Silverstone as the fabulous Cher. I was looking at this because something has cropped up again... Remember this stylish Calvin Klein dress...?

Well, The dress is back and still as fantastic! Rihanna was spotted wearing the revamped dress at the GQ awards a few months back and she looked amazing! Such a simple dress and we are back to the 90's looking flawless!

I made another little discovery when i found a dress modelled by my friend here.. she got this on the highstreet so you're closer to bringing back the gorgeous decade! It's a simple dress from Renee London, and it's been styled up with a belt to add a little something... I'm loving the bright colour too, ready for the summer!

Topshop, river island and h&m would be perfect places to find these dresses too, so find that inner cher and embrace the beauty of the 90's!!

London Fashion Week

Hello!

Well i have a great post for you today because... London Fashion Week has been and gone! The most prestigious week in the fashion calendar has hit London in full storm! It all kicked off on Friday the 15th and i was lucky enough to be there for the PPQ show at Somerset House. The runway was lit up with PPQ's bright block colours and 80/picasso prints, fitted blazers, off the shoulder dresses.. it was fashion heaven!

I've been keeping an eye on the shows and the highlights during the week and i have some pictures from some of the hottest shows on the catwalk icluding Sister by Sibling, Mulberry, Topshop Unique, Burberry Prorsum and the one i was most looking forward to... Tom Ford!

My favourite of all the collections has to be Burberry Prorsum because to me, all of the pieces were so wareable and i loved the metal detail on the dresses and macs. The knee length and tight fitting skirts along with oversized jumpers worked perfectly and i believe it was the highlight of London Fashion Week. London really does sit on a higher platform as a fashion capital because of the help of the fashion council, which no other capital has. It was a fabulous week from old and new designers so i hope you enjoy these pictures from London Fashion Week!

Topshop Unique
Vivienne Westwood Red Label
Paul Smith

PPQ
Matthew Williamson
Tom Ford

So who was your favourite and why? Write to me on twitter @katejasinski or find me on Instagram as always @katej04, have a wonderful week and hope you enjoyed my post!

She has some amazing posts and she has featured in a ton of magazines all over the world. Chiara is being recognised by some top names in fashion and she gives real insight on how to be your own style queen. A real 'must read' - I'm addicted! Has A Ring To It...

Hello!
My post today is all about rings! I'm actually obsessed with rings and i think they are the best accessory to have, they never go out of fashion and the more the better! Wether stacking them up or just having one signiture ring, they can make the plainest of outfits sparkle. Personally, i'm really into turquoise stones, chunky and midi rings, an assortment of colours too. Here are the ones i'm wearing today...
Nail Colour: Cabaret (Ciate)
Rings: All Topshop, stacked and midi rings

You can find that instagram has a huge ring trend at the moment but in my opinion, they will always be stylish and fun! If you want any 'ring-spiration' look to people such as Caggie from made in chelsea, Vanessa Hudgens and the Olsen twins

You can find rings in every shop, my favourtie places to look are Topshop, h&m and thrift stores! So look to any antique or charity shop and you'll be sure to find a bunch of stylish and vintage ings and costume jewellry!

Another post to come soon...

Hello!
So, Nails Inc have come up with another fabulous varnish... Leather Effect! It comes in a few different colours, my faves being black and nude, it also comes with 4 little skulls for decoration, brilliant idea! When painted on and left for a few minutes, the look and texture of leather appears, it's honestly amazing. It comes as a set for £19 and available from boots, amazon or any other retailers that sell Nails Inc.

True Blue-ty

Hello!
So it's absolutly freezing right now so i hope everyone is wrapping up warm (yet keeping stylish!) Black seems to be a big colour for when its cold, it is a statement, it's classy and its a good choice! There is always a way to liven it up though and i've found a girl who proved this and i loved it!!!
Changing your hair colour can be a huge deal but sometimes, it's just what you need. An alternative to 'normal' colours is going the way of pastel colours! Laura has gone for a pastel blue and also dyed her eyebrows the same colour so i thought i'd post it on here to see what you think! I love it and i think it really works with the vintage black ensemble :D It's a way to change things up so think pastel!

Laguna Beauty...

Hiya!
They weren't kidding when they said third year was going to be the toughest! Sorry, i've neglected my blog baby for a few weeks now but i am back with todays new post! (They'll be another on friday as usual too) So in my 5 spare minutes a day when i am not reading Stanislavski or Meyerhold, I've yet again been drawn in by the radient Lauren Conrad! Her new book 'Beauty' is out and of course, i was in there straight away! The book goes with her 'Style' book, i have referenced this on the blog before, referring it to the Bible! But 'Beauty' is all about you, your skin, health, hair and nails! It really is an amazing read if you're worried about why you're getting breakouts in certain areas, if you're using the right moisturizer for your skin type and of course, how to get those Conrad curls! I recommend it to anyone as it has so many good tips in there, i'm already using a few ;)
'Beauty' Lauren Conrad: £14.99

All her tips!

Have a good week!

Joyeux Anniversaire....

Bonjour!
It was my 21st birthday yesterday and was surprised with a trip to paris by my boyfriend! (hence the french) This post is a little different to my others as it's not about clothes today but perfume! My scent has always been Gucci by Gucci but i decided to ask for something different this year so i could have a nice change! I was given Burberry Body which is quite musky but with a floral tone and Dot by Marc Jacobs which is very feminine and has a mix of being very fruity but with a vanilla musk. they are both such nice scents and i recommend them a lot! So if you need a new smell in your life... look no further!

New Age Grunge

Hiya! So i've been a bit M.I.A recently, i've just started back at uni for my third year so it's been a bit hectic! First day back though and i found a cute ensemble! I've been loving the grungy look lately, but with a feminine edge and i think this outfit sums it up perfectly...

Military Jacket and Denim shirt: Vintage
Bag: American Apparel
Boots: Clarks

It's very on trend for this season and i think the shirt done up all the way to the top is much better, you could also add a collar necklace to add to the outfit to make it a little more girly if needs be... Another gem i saw (quite literally) were these shorts! They're very grungy but a very good statement piece. You can also make them more girly by adding a blouse in a soft colour but i love this outfit, from the retro jumper to the vintage levi shorts... loving it for Autumn!!

Jumper: Vintage
Shorts: Levi's (studs added by self)
Studs: Ebay

So this is the fashion vibe i'm getting this week! Minimal effort but totally statement when you walk into a room! Have an great few days!
